Leighton was born Tuesday, July 28, 2009. He weighed 8 pounds and 3.5 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long. It was a very very smooth labor! Checked in at 7pm Monday night, and we got induced at 8pm. Started contractions at about 8:10, knew for sure he was coming soon... HA! Just kidding! Jud and I stayed strong together, and waited them out naturally until about 11am on Tuesday morning... Decided to go ahead and get the epideral then. Took a little nap, started pushing about 3:30pm or so, and here he came at 3:53pm. An easy 20 minutes of pushing! ;-)
