LIFE IS A VOYAGE THAT IS HOMEWARD BOUND...ESPECIALLY WHEN IT STARTS TO FLOOD!

So, Friday at about 12, LoLo, Laurel, Jud and I set off for Bennett Springs State Park... We stayed at Sand Spring Resort, and had an absolute blast...well, I know I did!!! ;-) We got our tags when we first arrived and went straight to Whistle Bridge... Then Saturday morning we were up by 5:30, thinking the whistle blew at 6:30, but oopss...it blew at 7:30...(my fault) LOL, but I just figured we made an early start on the day anyways, so nothing was hurt... Sunday morning Jud and I got up at about 6:30, and was down by the river by 7, but come to find out while we were asleep, the river rose about 14 feet, so down by the bridge where we fished Friday evening, was completely under water... The water was raging all the way up by the parking lot! We had a wicked good time together, and lots of awesome memories were made!!!

Jud and I with my first fish of the day...
Jud catching his first trout EVER... ;-)
Jud and I in the cabin...
Me, LoLo, and Laurel... as you can see the Spring is up into the parking lot, and above the trees
Juddy and his parents... what a great picture!
